KH Power is a fast-dissolving dry powdered blend of carbonate, bicarbonate, and borate salts designed to raise alkalinity and achieve a stable pH. After a pH of 8.3 is achieved, further additions of KH Power raise the alkalinity only.

Directions: Create a stock solution by dissolving 10 grams (about 2 tsp) of KH Power in 8 oz. (250 ml) of purified fresh water. Five ml (1 teaspoon) of stock solution added to one gallon of water will increase the alkalinity by 1.25 dKH (0.45 meq/L). Add 1 ml of stock solution per gallon daily to achieve an alkalinity of 8.5 - 9.5 dKH (3 - 3.4 meq/L). Thereafter dose weekly as needed, or use Kalkwasser or C-Balance to maintain both the calcium and alkalinity levels. Note: Calcium chloride addition alone will lower the alkalinity.
