Matala EZ Clear 25 watt UV Clarifier.
-Clears green water in ponds 2,000 to 4,000 gallons depending on sunshine*, fish load* and filter capacity*.
– Flow rate up to 2,000 gph.
Successful Pond Tip: Try to achieve flow through your filter and UV Clarifier with a “turnover rate” a minimum of 1 time the volume of the pond.
Example: a 2,000 gallon pond should have a flow rate through the filter and UV clarifier close to 2,000 gph.
Two separate connector options are available.
-EUV-25W with 4 section “Swivel Barb” option for vinyl tubing or kink free hose. The 4 section swivel barb will connect hose sizes 3/4″; 1″; 1-1/4″ and 1-1/2″.
Or
-EUV2-25W with “2” Union” option for Sch 40 PVC pipe and PVC glue.
-Electronic ballast tuned to the 25 watt Philips lamp to produce peak output of UV-c near 254 nm for efficient control of green water.
– *Increased sun exposure will require a larger watt unit.
– *Heavy fish loads will require a larger watt unit.
– *Will clear green water when used together with a proper filter system.
